Maternidade Alfredo da Costa loses five obstetricians to Vila Franca de Xira hospital
Five experienced obstetricians and gynecologists are moving to the Vila Franca de Xira hospital by November 1st to help rebuild its gynecology and obstetrics service. The move, coordinated by a government-appointed oversight committee, involves three doctors leaving the Maternidade Alfredo da Costa (MAC) and two others joining via internal mobility, while a sixth doctor is joining from Évora.
