Baião grants 1,200 euros for each child born or adopted in the municipality
The "Baião Primeiros Passos" program provides a reimbursement of up to 1,200 euros for essential baby-related expenses, such as health services, food, hygiene products, and clothing. Eligible applicants must be registered residents of Baião for at least one year and have had or adopted a child since January 1, 2026. Purchases must be made at local businesses in the municipality and cover costs incurred from three months before the birth/adoption up to two years post-approval.
Why it mattersIf you are a resident of Baião and have had or adopted a child since January 1, 2026, you can now apply for up to 1,200 euros in reimbursements for baby expenses, provided you have lived in the municipality for at least one year.
