Selection of medical specialty training vacancies now done online
The Central Administration of the Health System (ACSS) has replaced the traditional in-person, real-time selection process for medical internships with an online model similar to university admissions. Candidates no longer need to be physically present at a specific time and can participate via computer or mobile device, regardless of their location.
Why it mattersIf you are a doctor applying for a medical specialty internship in 2026, you will now select your placement electronically rather than attending a mandatory in-person session, with the vacancy map expected in early October.
