Porto City Council to discuss revision of seven inclusive zoning projects on Tuesday

Porto City Council will bring the revision of seven urban development projects—which previously opted to pay financial compensation in lieu of building affordable housing—to a vote at the executive meeting on Tuesday, 3 November 2026. The current administration, while defending the legality of these past procedures, is also moving to revise the municipal inclusive zoning regulations, which it claims have resulted in no affordable housing units being built since 2021.
