Diagnostic and therapeutic technicians at ULS Amadora-Sintra strike with high turnout

Diagnostic and therapeutic technicians at the Amadora-Sintra Local Health Unit (ULS) are striking today, 29 October, with participation rates reported between 80% and 100%. The strike, which includes a demonstration outside the Ministry of Health between 11:00 and 14:00, is intended to demand the application of the Collective Work Agreement (ACT) to workers on individual contracts to address salary and career progression disparities. Essential services, such as medical imaging, clinical analysis, and pharmacy, are operating under mandated minimum services.
