CP strike scheduled for this Friday has been called off

The strike planned by the SFRCI union for this Friday, 30 October, was cancelled following negotiations with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing. The union stated that the Ministry and CP's administration expressed willingness to address demands regarding salary valorization, professional career regulations, and worker safety, though they reserve the right to resume industrial action if concrete measures are not taken.

Why it matters

If you commute by train, the strike previously scheduled for 30 October will not take place, and services should operate according to the normal schedule.
