Over 100,000 people have signed up for free public transport passes in Porto since July

More than 100,000 residents have obtained the 'Cartão Porto' since the city's free public transport scheme launched on July 10. The pass allows eligible residents to travel for free across the entire Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) via bus, metro, train, tram, and boat.

Why it mattersIf you are a resident of Porto, you are eligible for free public transport across the metropolitan area, but you must register for a 'Cartão Porto' online or in person to access this benefit.
