Minister of Justice admits to 'small works' at Ponta Delgada prison
The Minister of Justice stated that the Ponta Delgada prison lacks ideal conditions and announced plans for minor renovations, including the creation of 38 new places in a currently deactivated wing. Additionally, a new Victim Support Office (GAV) has opened at the Ponta Delgada Justice Palace, with an extension in Ribeira Grande, to improve access to support for crime victims in the Azores.
