INEM gives in: 56 ambulances maintained and human resources reinforced; technicians accept patient transfers and pilot project

The STEPH union called off the strikes scheduled for September 14 and September 28 after reaching an agreement with the Ministry of Health and INEM. The agreement ensures that 56 emergency ambulances remain dedicated to pre-hospital care (with transfers allowed only as a last resort), limits the scope of a pilot project for SIV ambulances, and increases the number of training slots for emergency technicians from 150 to 200, with regional hiring focus.
