DGS alerts to dust in the air and advises vulnerable population to stay at home

The DGS has warned of poor air quality across mainland Portugal due to dust from North Africa, affecting mainly the Centre and South regions. This phenomenon is expected to persist through Saturday, and health authorities recommend that vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, and those with chronic respiratory or cardiovascular conditions, stay indoors with windows closed.
