The new Pink Line (G) in Porto has begun dynamic testing of its full three-kilometre route between Casa da Música and São Bento. These initial 'clearance' tests, intended to ensure vehicle compatibility with the tunnel infrastructure, are scheduled to continue until the end of next week, October 16, 2026. Commercial passenger service is expected to begin by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

The Leixões movable bridge in Matosinhos is fully operational again after technical issues with the north deck were resolved by the port authority (APDL). The bridge had been temporarily closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic earlier today.
The new digital tool from STCP (Porto's public transport operator), which allows passengers to see real-time bus arrivals and updates, recorded 20,000 users and 90,000 daily interactions in its first month. It is currently being used by passengers from 73 countries.
