Unions call for more prevention and inspection in civil construction

The FEVICCOM federation issued an open letter to the government and construction industry associations demanding stricter investigations into recent workplace accidents and a reinforcement of the Authority for Working Conditions (ACT). The union also highlighted that the increasing number of immigrant workers in the sector necessitates safety information and training provided in languages they understand to prevent accidents.
