More than 30% of health professionals report psychological violence as frequent or widespread

A study by the University of Coimbra involving 1,678 health professionals found that 32.8% identify psychological violence as frequent or widespread in their workplaces. Participants also frequently cited systematic devaluation of work (30.1%), bullying (24%), and verbal violence (23.2%), while many expressed low confidence in organizational responses and fear of negative consequences for reporting incidents.
