Nurses argue that all INEM calls should be handled by nurses

Representatives from the Order of Nurses testified before the parliamentary health committee, arguing that nurses should handle all emergency calls (CODU) at the national medical emergency institute (INEM). They criticized the government's recent agreement with pre-hospital emergency technicians (TEPH), which allows those technicians to continue performing triage, and advocated for the universal adoption of the Manchester triage system to ensure consistency between emergency services and hospitals.
