Instagram blocks news pages in Portugal: users lose access to information, jurists question Meta's silence and legality

Citizens ask Ombudsman for surprise police station visits during Lisbon protest

A group of six citizens requested that the Ombudsman, in its capacity as the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture (MNP), monitor police conduct during housing rights protests.
