Metro Transportes do Sul workers call total strike for November

Workers at the Metro Transportes do Sul (MTS) have called a total strike for 16, 17, and 18 November. Additionally, there will be partial strikes involving the last two hours of each shift on 19 November and 23 November.

Why it matters

If you use the light rail (metro) in Almada or Seixal, these strikes will cause significant service disruptions on 16, 17, and 18 November, and partial disruption on 19 and 23 November; plan your commute accordingly.
