Glória Funicular: Lisbon Municipal Assembly committee to start hearings with City Council and Carris

The Lisbon Municipal Assembly's ad-hoc committee investigating the September 2025 Glória funicular accident has decided to begin hearings with the Lisbon City Council (CML) mobility councillor, Gonçalo Reis, and the Carris administration. The committee plans to subsequently consider hearing technical experts, unions, and the insurance company involved to clarify maintenance and safety responsibilities.
