Foreigners Law: instead of curing the disease, the arm is cut off
The new Foreigners Law, recently promulgated by the President, is expected to be published in the coming days. It ends the possibility of applying for residency authorization while already in the country, tightens deportation rules, and introduces stricter measures for the detention of undocumented individuals.
