Dozens of protesters hold vigil for detainees at the Heroísmo police station in Porto

Following police clearing of an encampment for housing rights at Praça D. João I on Sunday 1 November, seven people were detained and taken to the Heroísmo PSP station. Protesters held a vigil throughout the morning demanding their release, following clashes that left 35 people with minor injuries and three with serious injuries.
