CGTP leader demands price controls and accuses Government of ignoring workers' struggles

The secretary-general of the CGTP union, Tiago Oliveira, led a demonstration in Lisbon on 17 October calling for state-imposed price caps on essential goods, fuel, and interest rates. The union is advocating for an increase in the national minimum wage to 1,110 euros and held a rally at Rossio to protest against the current cost of living, housing costs, and government economic policy.
