Banco CTT app, homebanking and MB WAY unavailable this weekend

Banco CTT will perform a scheduled system update from Friday, 16 October, until Sunday, 18 October. During this period, the bank's app, homebanking, MB WAY transfers, instant transfers, and ATM balance/transaction history checks will be unavailable; services are expected to be restored on Monday, 19 October.

Why it matters

If you are a Banco CTT customer, you will lose access to digital banking and MB WAY transfers throughout the weekend, so plan any necessary payments or transfers for before Friday or after Sunday.

Sistema Volta proposes measures to reduce pressure on bottle-return machines near supermarkets

Cascais Line changes night-time starting point

Night-time trains on the Cascais Line that usually start or end at Oeiras station will instead start and end at São Pedro do Estoril starting on 8 November. This change, due to station modernisation works, affects services stopping at all stations between Oeiras and Cais do Sodré. New schedules will be released next week, and the existing road transport replacement service will remain in operation during the night.
