Air Force transports essential goods to Corvo Island

The Portuguese Air Force successfully transported three tons of essential goods, including frozen products, fruit, and vegetables, to Corvo Island on Saturday 17 October to address supply shortages. Regular maritime transport remains disrupted due to adverse sea conditions and the scheduled maintenance of the primary supply vessel, THOR B. The regional government expects the vessel ISABEL C to attempt a further delivery of essential goods and gas on the morning of Sunday 18 October, depending on weather and sea conditions.
