AIMA marks three years in Portugal
As of 18 September, there were 89,000 cases involving AIMA pending in administrative courts, a 28.8% reduction since April. To continue addressing this backlog, the special judicial team's mandate has been extended until 30 January 2027. Separately, the government reports that 98% of the 940,000 cases under the special recovery operation have been resolved.
