ADSE reimbursement limit for specialist consultations is 25 euros, regardless of the cost?
ADSE provides an 80% reimbursement for specialist consultations in the 'Regime Livre' (non-partnered providers), capped at 25 euros. This means if a consultation costs 31 euros or more, the beneficiary receives the same maximum 25-euro refund. For teleconsultations, the reimbursement limit is 20 euros.
Why it mattersIf you are an ADSE beneficiary choosing to see a doctor outside the partnered network (Regime Livre), be aware that your out-of-pocket cost will increase significantly for expensive appointments since the reimbursement is capped at 25 euros regardless of the total invoice amount.
