Yellow weather warning for heat returns to almost all regions of the country on Sunday
IPMA has issued yellow warnings for high temperatures across most of mainland Portugal. Bragança and Vila Real remain under warning until 00:00 on Monday, while the warning extends to Viseu, Évora, Porto, Setúbal, Santarém, Viana do Castelo, Lisbon, Leiria, Beja, Aveiro, Coimbra, Portalegre, Braga, Guarda, and Castelo Branco from 09:00 on Sunday until 00:00 on Monday. Faro is the only mainland district not under a weather warning.
Why it mattersIf you are in any of the listed districts, expect high temperatures on Sunday and take necessary precautions, such as staying hydrated and avoiding sun exposure during the hottest hours.
