Get ready! Azores under yellow warning due to forecasts of heavy rain

The weather institute (IPMA) issued a yellow warning for heavy rain across all nine islands of the Azores. The warning for the Western Group (Flores and Corvo) is in effect from 03:00 to 15:00 on Wednesday, 28 October. For the Central Group (Terceira, Graciosa, Faial, Pico, and São Jorge), it applies from 09:00 to 00:00 on Thursday, 29 October. For the Eastern Group (São Miguel and Santa Maria), it applies from 21:00 on Wednesday, 28 October, to 09:00 on Thursday, 29 October (all times converted to Lisbon time).
