Two hundred firefighters and three aircraft deployed in Fornos de Algodres
A rural fire in Maceira, Fornos de Algodres, began late Monday night and saw a resurgence of flames, requiring 191 personnel, 55 vehicles, and three aircraft to be on-site as of 10:00 on Tuesday 3 November. While the mayor describes the situation as relatively controlled, shifting winds remain a potential risk for the area and the neighbouring municipality of Penalva do Castelo.
