Solidarity Gas Cylinder program extended until the end of the year. How much is the support, who is eligible and how to request it
The government has extended the 'Botija de Gás Solidária' program until December 31, 2026, providing a subsidy of 25 euros per cylinder of LPG. Eligibility is restricted to households receiving the Social Electricity Tariff (TSEE) and certain social security benefits (minimum social payments).
Why it mattersIf you are a vulnerable household beneficiary of the social electricity tariff and specific social security payments, you can receive a 25-euro subsidy per gas cylinder until the end of this year through participating local parish councils (Juntas de Freguesia).
