Rodent infestation closes two health units in Gafanha da Nazaré until Friday
The Atlântico Norte and Beira Ria Family Health Units (USF) in Gafanha da Nazaré, Ílhavo, were closed preventively on Wednesday 21 October after rodent feces and urine were found. Pest control is underway, and the facilities will remain closed until Friday 23 October, when a new evaluation will take place. Acute care is being redirected to the Ílhavo Health Centre and the Costa Nova Health Post, while scheduled appointments are being rescheduled or handled via telephone consultations.
Why it matters
