Public administration strike hits 60% participation in education and health

A 24-hour strike by public administration workers, called by the STTS union, is active across the country today, 2 November 2026. Participation is reported at approximately 60% in the health and education sectors, leading to school closures, the shutting of some health centers, and the postponement of medical consultations.
