Praça de Espanha metro station platform reopens on Thursday

The platform at Praça de Espanha station (direction Santa Apolónia) reopens this Thursday, September 3, 2026. Following this, the platform for trains towards Reboleira will be closed for works from September 3 to September 28, 2026. Additionally, the south atrium will be closed for pavement repairs from September 14 to October 12, 2026.

Why it mattersIf you use the Praça de Espanha station on the Blue Line, you can access the Santa Apolónia-bound platform again from Thursday, but you will face a platform closure for Reboleira-bound trains and atrium access restrictions starting in September, requiring you to use Jardim Zoológico or São Sebastião stations as alternatives.
