National Road 110 connecting Coimbra and Penacova closed for over 8 months

The National Road 110 (EN110) between Coimbra and Penacova remains closed to traffic due to a landslide caused by Storm Kristin on January 28, 2026. Despite complaints from local residents and the Penacova municipality regarding the lack of repairs and the risk of further collapses, Infraestruturas de Portugal has not yet initiated construction works.
