More than half a million receive flu vaccine in Portugal
Over 507,000 people have received the flu vaccine since the campaign launched on 30 September, with over 300,000 administered in pharmacies. Pharmacies are currently providing flu shots for those aged 60–84 and those aged 18–59 with high-risk conditions, and COVID-19 boosters for those aged 70–84 and those 18–69 with high-risk conditions.
Why it mattersIf you are in an eligible age group or have a high-risk condition, you can get your seasonal vaccines at over 2,550 pharmacies across the country through 31 March.
