Sword's pelvic floor rehabilitation arrives at the SNS
As of Tuesday, October 14, 2026, doctors across all public health centers and hospitals in Portugal can prescribe Sword Health's remote pelvic floor rehabilitation program. The service is provided at no cost to patients and covers conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and postpartum rehabilitation, allowing for treatment to be conducted at home.
Why it mattersIf you are a woman experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, you can now ask your NHS (SNS) doctor to prescribe this free, at-home remote rehabilitation program as an alternative to traditional in-person physical therapy.
