"More effective and cheaper": European study advocates nature-based solutions to avoid home demolitions in Arriba da Caparica

Researchers from Liverpool John Moores University presented a study to the Almada Municipality proposing nature-based measures to mitigate landslides and mudflows in Santo António and São João da Caparica, aiming to protect homes from planned demolitions. The municipal government responded that it is already preparing its own intervention strategy for the area in collaboration with Nova/FCT university.
