Montenegro wants reflection on oil pricing mechanism

The Prime Minister stated that the current global system for fixing oil prices, which allows geopolitical disruptions in specific regions to impact costs worldwide, needs to be reviewed. He argues that this mechanism does not serve consumer countries, including Portugal, which imports oil from Brazil and Algeria but remains vulnerable to speculative price volatility in financial markets.
