Ministry of Health takes over five months to pay doctors' overtime
Doctors will finally receive their back pay for overtime worked since May 1, as the Ministry of Health has completed the necessary IT system updates. The Independent Doctors' Union (SIM) criticized the delay as unjustified and also denounced reports that some Local Health Units (ULS) are demanding that doctors forfeit their mandatory compensatory rest periods in exchange for the new regime.
