Metro Transportes do Sul workers evaluate new forms of protest after seven days of strike action

Following seven days of partial and total strikes that ended on 27 October, workers at Metro Transportes do Sul are considering further industrial action after receiving no response or proposals from the company or the Government regarding a new company agreement. The Sindicato Nacional dos Maquinistas reported high strike participation and a lack of contact from management, while the company maintained it remains open to dialogue.
