Majority approve of President’s performance — except for Chega voters

An Aximage poll for Diário de Notícias reveals that about two-thirds of Portuguese citizens have postponed life projects—such as home purchases, medical treatments, or starting a family—due to the rising cost of living, including housing, fuel, and essential goods. Regarding daily habits, 59% of respondents have altered their commuting patterns due to fuel prices, with significant shifts toward walking, public transport, or reduced travel, while 88% have changed their food consumption habits to prioritize lower prices.
