One in six admits to throwing small electrical waste into common trash

A study by the Electrão association reveals that 17.8% of consumers in Portugal have discarded small electronic items like chargers, cables, and headphones in regular household trash or street bins instead of proper recycling facilities. While 41.9% of surveyed consumers use municipal collection points or ecocentros, a significant portion of 'fast tech' equipment ends up in incorrect disposal streams.
