Madeira under yellow warning for hot weather until Monday

The IPMA has issued a yellow weather warning for high temperatures. The south coast of Madeira is under warning from 09:00 today, Saturday, until 18:00 on Monday, 2026-09-14. The north coast, mountainous regions, and the island of Porto Santo will also be under a yellow warning from 09:00 on Sunday, 2026-09-13, until 18:00 on Monday.

Why it mattersIf you are in Madeira or Porto Santo, be prepared for persistent high temperatures through Monday and take precautions against the heat.
