INEM. Union says strike will only be cancelled if the Government retreats "in writing"
The union representing pre-hospital emergency technicians (STEPH) stated that the planned strike will only be called off if the government provides a written commitment to reverse measures which the union claims will have serious consequences for the service.
Why it mattersIf you rely on INEM pre-hospital services, be aware that a strike is being threatened; while it is not yet confirmed, industrial action could disrupt emergency response times if an agreement is not reached.
