Housing protests: Chega says court decision 'promotes even more anarchy and reigning confusion'
The Lisbon Administrative Court ruled that housing protesters can keep their tents at Rossio until 24 November, stating that the tents are a symbolic form of protest rather than a campsite requiring a permit. The court further ruled against the application of a 1974 decree that police had used to enforce an automatic 00:30 curfew on protests, confirming that protesters may remain on site past that time.
