Lisbon protest camp highlights victory for the right to demonstrate

The Administrative Court of Lisbon ruled that the 00:30 curfew for demonstrations is not an "absolute and automatic" limit, allowing the protest at Rossio to continue until 24 November 2026. This allows the demonstration to operate between 00:30 and 06:30, provided it coordinates with the Christmas Market scheduled for the square.
