Group of Portuguese emigrants launches open letter in support of housing protests

A group of 321 Portuguese emigrants based abroad, including in Brussels, Berlin, and Amsterdam, signed an open letter supporting the housing protests and encampments currently occurring in Portugal. The signatories demand immediate government action on housing policies, including rent caps and protections against evictions, and criticize the recent police dispersal of protesters in Lisbon and Porto.
