Following the solar eclipse on August 12, health authorities and specialists are highlighting symptoms of solar retinopathy, which can manifest hours or days after exposure. Warning signs include blurred vision, distorted images, difficulty distinguishing colors, or a persistent spot in the center of the field of vision. If these symptoms occur, the General Directorate of Health (DGS) recommends contacting the SNS 24 health line.
