Diabetics regret that obesity medication coverage remains at 15%

The government has issued a decree establishing a 15% state subsidy for obesity medications, valid for 12 months. To be eligible, patients must be enrolled in a multidisciplinary monitoring plan at a hospital-based Obesity Multidisciplinary Team (EMO) within their Local Health Unit (ULS) and have the medication prescribed by an endocrinologist, internal medicine specialist, or pediatrician.
