BPP liquidation commission begins first payments to common creditors

The liquidation commission of the failed Banco Privado Português (BPP) has begun issuing partial payments to common creditors, representing 8.4% of recognized claims. Only creditors with a minimum recognized claim of 600 euros are currently eligible, provided they have submitted the necessary documentation for validation. Payments are being processed on a rolling basis; those who have not yet submitted documentation can do so at any time without a specific deadline.
