Ban on re-enrollment in the Civil Service Pension Fund (CGA) annulled
The law that prevented public servants who left the state before 2006 from re-enrolling in the Caixa Geral de Aposentações (CGA) upon returning to public service has been declared unconstitutional. This ruling allows eligible former civil servants to re-register with the fund. The Fenprof union is advising teachers to contact their union representatives to initiate the re-enrollment process.
Why it matters
