Azores government in 'multiple efforts' to ensure supplies for Corvo island

The Azorean government has been working to resolve supply shortages on Corvo island caused by the mandatory maintenance of the supply ship THOR B and adverse sea conditions preventing local vessels from docking. Essential goods were delivered by boat on Tuesday, and an emergency flight by the Portuguese Air Force was cancelled on Wednesday due to a technical breakdown; the government is seeking alternative air and sea transport, dependent on weather conditions.
